    Attention willie bee!!!!! Help
got a coon drinking all my hummingbird water on my front porch between 1 and 5 each night. i havent had luck with shooting the bastard. he hears the door and takes off. not sure where either. got a fair amount of trees around and the fukking redneck next door refuses to cut his yard, so he could just be over there.

i have read that the birds wont feed at night unless there is an over abundance of them and then the weaker/smaller ones will feed. thats not the case here. i have 2 or 3 of them and thats it. still, they are more important to me than the fukking raccoon is.

i cant take the feeders down at night cus im never really up that early and they will go elsewhere if i dont get the feeders out by daylight, but i am thinking about taking down the feeders tonight and putting up some other ones full of sugar water and some kind of gut wrenching poison. then taking them down after the bastard drinks the poison.

not sure how this idea will work, but like i said, i cant get a shot at him at night. im sure plommer can produce an educational thread on racoons for me too. any insight would be sweet.

We bring our hummingbird feeder in around 9:00 p.m. and it goes back out at seven in the morning. Still have plenty of happy hummingbirds around during the day.

Several reasons not to go the poison route, starting with you could kill the stray hummingbird and if it drips out or leaks out when the coon feeds, you could wind up poisoning some stray cat or dog. Plus that coon could go off into your garage or under your house to die, and you don't want that mess/stench.

I could hand feed our coon and its young'n that come up in the evening, damn cats aren't even afraid of it.

Put some poison in the water. You can kill two birds with one stone.

nothing stray around my area except for a cat that i have also tried to shoot. no way for any animal that size to get under my house and garage door is down at night. the dog shits out back. i guess a bird feeding at night would be bad, but i have never ever seen one feed past dark thirty, much less after midnight. i could put the poison in other feeders at night and then take them down before morning and wash the porch. i guess i could stay up real late tonight. i dunno. i do know that the fukker is a loud drinker and usually wakes me up by knocking my shit off their hangers

Bingo! Bring the feeder in at dark, back out at first light.

Got a dog that sheds???? Leave his hair around the porch it will keep the coons away. And it doesnt bother the birds they will use the hair for nesting. I had a mole killing my front yard I did every thing killed grub etc..... he kept coming back ...I stuffed dog hair in every hole and he is gone ....maybe it will work on the coons

the human hair thing works really well for deer, just spread hair around the perimeter of the area... go the barber and ask him to sweep some hair into a bag.... or have your wife shave your back....

I've also heard that they will not come around if they hear people talking.. Maybe you could place a small radio outside and tune it to talk radio station.. Just turn it on at night and cut it back off in the mornings when you wake up.. No more ladder climbing..

i tried that the first night you mentioned it koncker . my little ones dont shed at all, so i spread some huge clumps of hair from a neighbors dog on the top of the rails that the coon sits on while tumping over the front feeders and i put some on the ground where he licks the spilt water. didnt have any effect on him. my little dogs do all their running around out back, so i cant take a chance on that rodent getting after them if they go out late at night.

he is some kind of fukking mad. goes berserk when i get within a few feet of him. animal control said if they come get him, they have to take my cage. i think theres another coon around so that aint happenin...needless to say, the future for this little guy does not look good.

honestly willie, i can take him out in the country where the korean lives, but man i swear, he gets both arms out of the top of the cage when i grab for the handle and even though i got some arm length industrial gloves, i just dont like being that close to him. unfortunately, i will probably just shoot him

nah, kept him trapped up all day and night so he would be weak and then dropped him off out in the country. unfortunately, i think i pissed off his brother cus another fukk is raping my birdfeeders again and this one is smart enough to dodge the trap.

i have read that the birds wont feed at night unless there is an over abundance of them and then the weaker/smaller ones will feed. thats not the case here. i have 2 or 3 of them and thats it. still, they are more important to me than the fukking raccoon is.

i cant take the feeders down at night cus im never really up that early and they will go elsewhere if i dont get the feeders out by daylight, but i am thinking about taking down the feeders tonight and putting up some other ones full of sugar water and some kind of gut wrenching poison. then taking them down after the bastard drinks the poison.

not sure how this idea will work, but like i said, i cant get a shot at him at night. im sure plommer can produce an educational thread on racoons for me too. any insight would be sweet.
