I disagree, I am a big fan of fantasy sports. In fact, being a good fantasy manager/coach makes you a better handicapper, as a serious fantasy player projects his players' stats for the coming week, which could then be used to predict game outcomes.

If you like playing over/unders is good to be playing fantasy leagues. Then you know the hitting percentages or pitching matchups better when you bet.

I think OTW is talking about guys that ONLY play fantasy sports and don't wager against actual pointspreads.

I played fantasy for fun last year and it made some games more interesting. Might get into a money league this year if the rules seem reasonable.

this is the dumbest post I've read today, not surprised bcuz of who posted it. I play in many cash leagues and free leagues. It's another way to interact with friends and talk shit while enjoying the sport. U do know that u can actually enjoy things without making money on it right?

maybe they don't like to gamble? Novel idea, some people don't have the disposable income or any desire at all to gamble on a random event. Maybe they're just not degenerate fvcks that have to gamble on sports but still like to be "in the action" with a fantasy football team.

Fantasy football makes you look at the game entirely different. Instead of worrying about who wins, your checking stats like a sicko on your phone, and on the computer....refresh, refresh, refresh. That's all you do on gameday.
