Actually they do care if they win or lose, unless you've been involved in the industry and know the animals you wouldn't realize this.
The biggest reason for the inconsistancy is cheating....everyone is looking for their quick fix that won't get detected. Why can an animal finish 4 to 6 for once trainer at 25K get claimed and moved to 30K and win easy.... that trainer ain't so much better.
If horse racing were baseball it would be banned for all the cheating.Comment -
disagree. problem is that the horse is so finely bred now for speed that to repeat this speed is very harmful to the animal. Your cheating is just to keep them walking, little as to racing. Thourough breds are a very delicate animal.Comment -

I play at Wagerweb and I get 6.47% back on wagers up to $2k for the week. It goes up. If I play 10k I get 8.32%. It still goes up but I don't often play that much more.
You get it back in the form of loyalty points which can be exchanged for freeplay or good.

I think say Finger Lakes has a payout max or 2 or 3k so I keep this in mind when putting together a pick 4 ticket. I usually only play pick 4's.
If you stick to w/p/s and small exactas I wouldn't worry about having the taxes taken out.
If you hit a $10,000 pick 3 or 4 they automatically withhold $2,500 from you. The us tracks and twinspires.Comment
