Expedia is my hero

I have been a bit lazy and haven't booked my plane tickets yet. I was going to pay £564 from Heathrow to Vegas via Washington on United Airlines.

Then i went on Expedia and i am flying across on Thursday for £558 from Heathrow to Vegas via Chicago which includes a night in the LV Hilton on the Thursday

Don't ever book a holiday without first looking on Expedia

expedia can be cheap, but lots of others can be too. Booking straight through an air line can be the best. I booked southwest, got a car rental deal plus the GN gave me a great rate for Wednesday Thursday.

It pays to look around, not just expedia.

Ouch dude, i once drove from Middlesbrough (UK) to Austria and that only took 25 Hours. You are driving the equivalent of Western Europe

I believe from here vegas is 36 hours. I've driven it once. Mind you we stopped in Denver and rested up before hitting the grand canyon then off to vegas.

Don't like driving like that anymore, getting way to old for it.

I was/am a bit last minutey too.

I had to take a Thurs-Sunday from Toronto. Expedia got me a room at the El Cortez for $12.28 Canadian for the Thursday night. It should be a real beaut. I have two beds with it, I can sell one for $6.14 if someone still needs a place to crash Thursday night....

\good stuff, good time to go to vegas with all the deals....el cortez is not as bad as you might think with the rustic rooms
