Saw it today. I'm not a big special effects guy, but this movie takes the cake. The transition from actual footage to alien CGI stuff is unnoticeable. Peter Jackson tried to make it something more, to have the viewer question mortality, humanity, and responsibility.
But alas, he failed. The potential was there to make this a great film, and instead, it was just a very good film. Not the worst way to blow $10. Go for it. Good stuff.

We saw District 9 and The Goods today. I liked District 9 but The Goods was really, really funny.

Yes. The Goods delivers. Hilarious. Better than The Hangover.

Willie gave me the morning off tomorrow, so the misses and will be catching that movie in the morning before the rest of the world wakes up. Peter "Hobbit-on" Jackson made this flick, eh ... now there's a douche-and-a-half

I will most definitely get this one on DVD but is a BIG SCREEN type movie. See it at the theaters if possible.
