    Question for SBR contest organizers
The Soccer Forum has more posts and threads than the Tennis Forum yet not a single contest was ever sponsored by SBR for soccer whereas tennis has many contests. The Boxing, MMA forum has 1/2 the traffic of Soccer Forum yet it has many contests offered already.

Why Soccer is discriminated in favor of Tennis & Boxing MMA in the contest department?

PS. If SBR doesn't know how to organize soccer contests I'm willing to help someone at SBR to help them started.

There is usually double the amount of viewers in tennis, at least for the last month or two, but I agree an organized soccer contest would be fun. We should have some on the new contest software in the future.

I just look on main page. Here is what I see:

      Threads:

      Tennis 1059
      Soccer 1993
      Boxing MMA 926

      Posts:

      Tennis 20158
      Soccer 20419
      Boxing MMA 11424

It appears Soccer is beating both with posts and threads.

That's true, but Soccer has been a sub-forum much longer than tennis. Tennis hasn't even been a sub-forum for a full year.

And how much money is being bet on soccer everyday and how much is being bet on tennis? I would say soccer beats tennis on 1000 to 1 ratio. If SBR is actually making money through banner sign ups why wouldn't want to promote betting on the most heavily bet sport in the world? I thought this was a sports gambling forum.

I understand Prick but can you ask your bosses why don't they promote an SBR sponsored contest with a $50-$100 free play price to spark interest? Are you telling me a contest about Tennis or MMA is more successful than a soccer contest on UEFA Champions League? Every Wednesday Champions League averages more than 1 billion viewers in viewership and I doubt any tennis event or a MMA fight draws more than 10 million viewers.

Prick you are a business man. Make it happen. You don't want to miss the boat on huge profits for SBR.

                        Good points for soccer contests.

Pavy, want to design one up with the boards help? See who else is in?

I can design one for Tuesday-Wednesday champion league games. There are 5 games on Tuesday and 5 games on Wednesday. If the contest has the automatic lines like the other contests someone at SBR can set it up. We can have max 10 picks, with 5 picks each day. We can bet on sides or totals. We can put a 2x bet for each day. The one who has the most units wins.

I think it will be tough to do one next weekend due to the Bash but we can be doing weekly contests Saturday - Sunday from the leagues offered at sbrlines for either BTP format or most units. Also midweek for UEFA champions league when there is no american football.

OK we can do the manual stuff for now. Let me know when you want to start it after the Bash and we can come up with format, prices, rules, etc.
