Communication is key in times like this. Down for 48 hours with proper communication is better is some ways than down 6 hours with almost none.

A few years ago, BOL went down for 3 weeks with zero communication to its customers. They have the worst customer service in the business - don't ever expect them to communicate or keep you updated.
