Why werent the books prepared ?
I cant help feeling the books have let themselves down badly in the last few days. US palyers cant get money out of Cris without it costing loads. Sports.com (and the rest of the group) have pretty much closed down completely. TradebetX has brought forward a reorganisation without informing its customers (if you are tradebatx or tradesports customer wondering where some of your wagers are being held they are now with intrade - now a seperate company)

It was obvious to all that Neteller was going soon so why was noone prepared. Emails should have been pre-written ready to go to customers and a frmal aqtion plan in place.

The only book that seems to have had a plan to me was intertops. There prepaid card option isnt great - but at least they had a plan

I don't think I'd go as far as saying not being prepared for this stuff. The books only really had a few months to come up with a game plan. Lets face facts here. You really can't have plan when you don't know what exactly the new law was going to be.

You really gotta cut these books from slack, because this law was passed on a late Friday night after they tacked it on to that port bill.

Looks like Spiro did have a "plan B" of some sort though, because he's coming out with his own ATM cards. However, I think that might have been in the works before the new law passed.

I agree somewhat with the original post. In my own experience getting money or trying to get money out of Carib, their main sources for cash outs disappeared on the same day with Neteller and Instadebit. Obviously you can't exactly see that coming, but you would think more books would have scrambled after Pinnacle went down and they had to know to a degree that the 3rd party money managers like Neteller would be targeted at some point because most of us thought that I believe.
