Ok, so I'm playing let it ride. After about 30 minutes the dealer, an older man, asks the guy next to me if he used to play ball. The guy was hesitant at first and asked how he knew. The dealer said he remembered him and the girl he was with when he played roulette months ago. The guy said he was a former player, Mark Leiter. This guy was bombed. At first he was cool. He said he loves this game and once hit a royal flush in New Orleans, blah, blah, blah. He then starts dipping (chewing tobacco). I then told him I remember him from the minor leagues since I got autographs at the stadium near my house. I started naming players on his team, Scott Aldred, Scott Livingston, Rich Rowland, Kevin Ritz, Steve Searcy, etc. He looked at me and thought i was some sort of freak and questioned how I knew all of this. I explained I got autographs when I was 14. Ten minutes later he is basically crying on my shoulder since he talked about a son who passed away when he was really young. Ten minutes after that we argued about who should tip the drink girl $1 ( cheap ****). I swear to god I thought this guy would get in a car accident that night. He lives about an hour north.
