Judges have like there own fraternity. It is very rare you see another judge overrule a previous ones decision in an appeal.

I also live in the South Jersey area and last night driving to the Eagles preseason game there were billboards that were advertising sports betting for the Delaware parks. Then again on the radio today I heard an ad that was again saying sports betting will be offered in Delaware for September.

Hope your right Anthony but seems a little odd they would expedite it at the leagues request and against delaware's hopes if they did not think it was important to stop this before it gets off the ground and another judge already set a trial for Dec. 7th My fingers are crossed here but my personal opinion on the matter is bleak at this point gonna be stuck betting 3 team parlays for 4-1 odds or some shit on my trip up there

Shit August 24th is the hearing, I just realized today is the 14th..... thats only 10 fcking days.... Hope the lawyers for Delaware are on their feet and this game is not "fixed" meaning payoffs by the leagues..... It is go time

There is no way they would start spending money advertising and millions renovating at the tracks to provide for this if it wasn't gonna happen. The people paying the bills for advertising and enhancements for the tracks are not stupid.

The problem is stupid wording by the politicians whom wrote this bill it does deny the expansion of gambling othe than to what was offered previously but is betting on a spread different in a parlya than a single game? You still betting against a spread the below link has the text of the bill PASPA and it seems like it is not clearly defined at all which leaves the judges a lot of discretion. The funniest part is this article tells how the DOJ severly opposed the passage of this law as it SEVERLY INFRINGES ON STATES RIGHTS!
