LOL @ Locks don't exist. No, they don't. They can be very strong plays or unlikely to lose.....but calling something a lock is saying there is no way it can lose. Unless you have the game script of all future games from the Sports Almanac in Back to the Future movie....you don't have a dam lock.

Does 3 days rest hurt the Heat then? For truthful reasons, it is because the Lakers/Nuggets series is BEHIND the Heat/Celtics series. It's possible they want to bridge the gap so each winning team won't have way extra rest going into the Finals. That could all go sideways if the Lakers sweep and the Heat/Celts go 7. It still bridges the gap because the East played their game 1 when the Nuggets played their game 7.

i think three days would have helped the Celtics after game 1, not here. I might have taken the Celtics if the game was tonight.

I like the way the Heat lost game 2. You got to give your opponent a game or two, here and there in these series. Jordan did it all the time. Heat know they were outplayed in game 3 and now they are simply agitated. They don't want to start slow anymore. They are hungry, but not desperate. This is a good disposition to sit with for three days. The Celtics might be relaxing. They might be staring down 3-1 in the face after 20 minutes of this game - and that will be uncomfortable.

I'll take Heat +3 for 500 points if you care to make it interesting....
