You get invited to a Unplugged Wedding during Football season, what do you do

I’ve got a much worse wedding situation than that. A 30 year good friend is getting married next spring at Graceland, yea the Elvis place, but I live in Florida like him, then the reception is at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, I’d probably tell him sorry can’t make it but my wife is dead set on going.

So now I’m gonna have to spring for round trip airfare a couple nights at the Peabody Hotel and a fukin gift. Who and why does shit like that, has a wedding 500 miles away.

dont have to give a gift you being there is the gift. look at is as a vacation for you and the wife. ive done destination wedding, its cheaper and it knocks out all the jerk offs you dont want to invite, but have to.
