I've seen the posts about people playing Madden here some of you play computer games. Does anyone play Fifa 09?

Too bad Justin, wouldn't mind playing you. I used to have a Xbox, 2 actually but both broke. Ended up getting a PS3 and Im pretty damn happy with it. Jimmy, do you play on a PS3?

TBG, you mentioned that the Ireland match was "friendly" What does that mean? I don't follow soccer. Thanks in advance.

A 'friendly' game is where the two teams are not meeting for any particular competition. It's a game used for testing players, fitness etc. The result of the game does not change or alter any competition/cup etc. To put it simply, I guess you could say, it's a 'fun' game between two teams.

Ireland for example are unbeaten so far in their world cup group (which included a game against Italy). However, they have lost their two friendly games to date. (Annoying but it doesen't change anything)

Similar to an exhibition game in other sports I take it.

Yep, percisely. Ireland's next work cup qualifier is against Cyprus in September.
