Yeah, this Red Apples guy has some sort of issue. He called me a piece of sh**, deleted the post, however, just kept messaging me privately. Whatever you try to explain to him he is either not understanding it or refuses to understand it then goes into some tirade. He is simply looking to pick fights. Its been weeks and he continues to say Im a schill and keeps bringing me up in conversation...The funny thing is we are on his side. I even sympathized with him and what happened. 5 dimes did not handle futures correctly and you have every right to be pissed! It sucks! I simply tried to explain it is what they felt was best to accomplish the goal of shutting down the US by the end of September. Doesnt make it right but, it is what they felt was the quickest most efficient way to accomplish a bigger goal down the road. There is a reason they need to vacate the US market by a certain date. If they wanted to intentionally steal they would have just shut down and, not paid out anything. In any case, I hope that Apples can get over me because, I am officially breaking up with him and will no longer respond to his insults or messages. I withdrew some funds the day after the announcement (and received it 6 days later), but against my better instincts, kept about half there to attempt to squeeze two more weeks of reduced juice out of them. Now I don't believe I'll ever see that money. That slight profit would have been slighter at another book, but at least the funds would already be in my wallet.
I consider myself fortunate that I did not have any futures at 5Dimes. The majority of my play is in season win totals and futures. It's alarming to hear they are grading losers without a winner. That is theft, plain and simple. It's not what people holding a lot of equity want to hear, but the correct resolution would have been to refund all futures bets that had not reached their conclusion by their cutoff date. At other books, it's been my experience that even "sure loser" championship futures are not graded until the championship is won. I had two Stanley Cup futures - one on Tampa, one on Calgary - and they were both graded this morning. Calgary was eliminated over a month ago. If these had been at 5D, they should have refunded both. I wouldn't have been happy about it, but would have understood. My understanding is that they would have pocketed my Calgary bet and refunded my Tampa bet. That is theft.Comment -

Just want to add that I made my request on 9/17. I contacted customer service on 9/21 to see if there was anything else I needed to do. They told me to add my computer as a verified computer, which was simple enough, and then I had to call customer service to verify some information. I received an email yesterday afternoon that I had been paid. I checked my bitcoin wallet last night and the payout was there. I decided to sign up at Betanysports as an alternative.Comment -

I have not received mine yet. I hopped on the live chat and got the standard "no time frame" response. She recommended I call them to do the phone verification, which I did. And I didn’t realize it but I used my home number w/ 5dimes which I never use anymore, so I definitely would have missed the call. I received my full payout (BTC) about 30 minutes ago, with no verification e-mail. I did receive a "Payout Completed" e-mail. As stated earlier, I proactively called in my phone verification.
