They are at least worth looking at now at this price.

Damn Sammy, good luck on the Rockies. I thought you were a $100 or under bettor, why the big bet on a huge favorite?

Fish, I have bet baseball all year and have had a great year but I seriously cannot figure a high pct of these line moves out with baseball.
It's by far the hardest sport to cap the moves.
I would be stunned if anyone could predcit these accurately over extended time.
I am not bad with openers that are off and identifying them but other stuff, nothing but head scratching for me most of the time.
I know for a fact that many of the bigger lines moves, the syndicate groups that are responsisbile for some of the steam, have lost quite a bit the past month and are way down.

Let me add that sometimes patience is the best way to bet baseball and get better numbers, not like other sports where it is a race to get in big and early in fear of missing the good numbers.
I rarely fear or respect line moves in bases.
Baseball on the other hand is more about setting a price you like and making the MB offer, IMHO.

Since my return, I've been nailing these like clockwork.
Understand, just as lucky as good.......first to admit.

That's great. I found the best way to do this is hitting openers first at Pinny, if that is an option. Then playing back later at MB. Thought that was very beatable, IMO.
I followed the games very closely and couldn't figure a rhyme or reason for a lot of these moves. Lots of odd things happend along the way, people like to bet sweeps, etc..Days like Sundays were the worst.
Good luck, I did it profitbaly over time but it was very difficult and had many losing days.

Somehow I've avoided even one losing day.
I know this will not last.......and I will make a mistake or two very, very soon.

That's awesome.
Are you taking leads or are you betting true scalps only as they happen? I was taking leads,
I would sometimes make huge offers and the go to bed, wake up and hold my breath that the line moved the right way. Sometimes 20 cent or more line moves would happen.
Most profitable is being on stuff where game is lined around +100. Getting both sides plus money is great. Tigers game was prime example of that today. Someone could have easily had both clubs at +105 or so.
I still do one or so a day when I look overnight and see something that don't look like it adds up and bet it. Had the Angles game yesterday where I locked in $50 on a risk free play. $50 profit a day may not sound like much but it adds up to $1,500 a month, a house payment, LOL.
The best is when both bets are made at MB, they give you back the credit to play with before the game STARTS.
I had a few $400-$600 risk free profit days. Was very very careful never to make a real mistake (as this could cost me 5k or so on one side and nothing on the other). Never happened thanfully.
A lot like day trading and I actually read a few day trading books and techniques to try and help me "time" the market, etc...The only thing I wished MB could do like the stock market is let you place STOPS in if a price starts going AGANIST you and you were away from the computer. You can't do that there now so this means you can't leave a lot of times with an open play without risking a possibile big line move. Guy I know said there is software out there he could sell me that would do that.
