Bay is still not 100% hitting .261
Ortiz is hitting .220 and basically been in a slump all season
Kotchman is hitting .250
Green .236
Woodward .232

and you have your 2 best hitters on the bench, what is there to like exactly?

I bet the Tigers as though Verlander has struggled of late he does have 27 k's to 3 walks in those last 3 outings.

Tigers lineup not any better then Sox, IMO.

Last few years? I wouldn't go that far.....when the normal starters are in and they are healthy this is one of the best lineups in baseball from top to bottom.
