YES, play in as many contests as possible........probably more than anyone I know.

NO, do not dumpster "dive", just pick-up sellable goods I might see on my way to getting in my truck.

YES, I use free WIFI, it is available everywhere.

YES, hit the library twice weekly to spend 2-3 hours reading sports, health, and financial mags.

NO, I do not write-off much at all.......only gambling losses and farm expenses.

fishler, here in montreal, we have 3 places.. 1- Village Des Valeurs, 2- Renaissance, 3- Armee Du Salut.

The GF loves these 3 places.. what they are is basically a store that sells everything for 1$ to 5$ and practically new.. and every 2 days we go,they have new stuff again.. i am hooked on these places.. i am now wearing as we speak a 200$ brand name shirt, very new.. paid 2$ for it. i am typing on this keyboard 2$.. bought a pair of buffalo jeans, just about new.. 125$ in stores, paid 4$ for them.. incredible like new blender 110$ in stores, for 4$.. they got sofas, desks, brand name clothes...they have everything here.. and all new stuff..everyday, me and GF do this and make the tours of all of them and we love it..

do you have these type of places in the USA? you would love these things.. i am hooked on them and i only look for quality stuff.. every time i go, i never know what i am going to find that day. it's fun as hell.. you would feast on these places.

yea we do nicky, i believe u are referring to flea markets, a great time indeed, my mother used to give me 5 bucks when i was a little kid and I would be entertained for quite some time, I havent been to one in quite some time but believe that I need to make it to one sometime soon.

NO juster, i am not talking flea markets. we have those too.. these are big stores with stuff that people gave away, so they sell them for 2$.. a big big store..

flyer, i hear you buddy. it has come to a pt now that i look soooooo forward to the weekends just to go check garage sales with the mrs.. she got me hooked on them. i take the car and do the tour.. it's a 2 hr morning filled with entertainment, then we come home exhuasted from the sun.. i fukkin love it.. you never know what you're going to find, that's why it's so fun..

I live right next to the beach and even on the weekdays some people around here will have them. On the weekends we get up to go eat and then we hit the garage sales up.. I used to hate it and think what the hell am I doing? Now I really enjoy it maybe more than she does. I will tell you most of the time I crack jokes when I am looking at the stuff, especially when it is all crap, you know the kind of stuff they ought to be ashamed of trying to sell... Most of the time its garbage and the stuff should just be thrown away, however, you will come across some good stuff, you have to be an early bird though. Which I am sure you know this.

you described my life... i love going through the stuff too, and i like it more then her too. but here is my bad part..i can't get up very early, and we end up going at 12 pm, and she hates this cause the time we get there, all the good stuff is gone, and you are 100% right.. you have to be there first or it's crap. when we get there, there are 200 things left. the woman then tells us that this morning at 8 am, there were 4,000 things and all the good stuff is now gone.. so we take the stuff that people did not want..fukk it..

i swear i will wake up at 7 am soon for this.. it will be way better..
