Is there a history between these two sites? I have taken it upon myself to try to understand the rift and why King Revolver left here so abruptly. I want to be like Jimmy Carter & Geraldo Rivera all rolled up into one. I just signed up woth EOG and received a nice warm welcome. Obviously, SBR is my forum and first love, but I REALLY want to know if some of the older guys on here can give me some insight on any tension between the two.

They are a forum only site. They really are not a competitor of SBR. Yes they lay on the lavish welcome when they think they can get a poster from another site. Thats all good even if it is a tad staged. I think the EOG is up directly against the Rx while SBR is up against Covers.Originally posted by Casperwaits
The two forums started almost the same day 4 years ago. In the beginning EOG had a fast start and was quite a bit larger. Over the years the roles have reversed and SBR is considerably bigger now. That kind of history makes for some natural competiveness.Comment -
EOG and theRx have the history for tensions.
Weitzner sold theRx without having to sign a non-compete clause. Took the email database with him and opened up EOG.
