E-checks - Why is everyone ignoring them??
No-one is mentioning e-checks as an alternate means of funding. Why?
All the sportsbooks (at least the major ones) offer e-checks as a way to fund. You give them yur bank account info and they withdraw whatever amount you designate. Similar to Neteller but without the middleman.
There must be a reason why everyone is avoiding this method. What is it??

I use them exclusively ... No fees, no hassle ... Will have to wait to see how things shake out down the road.

Thats the method I used when I first funded Pinnacle. It was easy and had no trouble with it. Not sure why no one is talking about it. Only way I see this not working, is the US banks putting a block on the Canada and Europe banks that process the payments for you. Which isnt a hard thing to do I guess.

I've linked by bodog acct to my bank acct and have never had any problems. Thing is, a crooked book could potentially take whatever they want from my acct couldn't they? What recourse do I have?

They tell me on the phone at the Greek that their site is "secure".
It seems unlikely that the Greek or Cris or other A+ books would simply steal from your bank account. I would dismiss that as a possibility.

I agree with you for top books, that's why I did it with Bodog. But I'd only do it with the very top books as that's some sensitive information.

You've also got direct evidence of gambling funds hitting your account if that makes a difference to you.

Been using e-check in addition to neteller but I think now e-check may be the only way to go.

Just heard something about Citadel shutting down to US gaming transactions.

                      Anyone heard this yet?

Yep. Citadel’s gone. The press release is posted at Prescription. I called them and they said as of about an hour ago they will not process any transaction for an American customer to or from a gaming site.

Just in the nick of time for me. Just got my Pinnacle balance out through Citadel early Tuesday morning and it hit my bank early Wednesday morning.

Now we got to see if the other e-check processors will continue to serve US, or will pull out. This is terrible.

lots of players here on CHex systems and left the banks to dry with overdrafts and are banned permantenly

                              not an option

anyone know of places that offer 2nd chance banking like at Walmart??
