I would think if you've got a nine handicap you're probably going to be in the "upper echelon" talent wise. I venture to say most of the guys are just there to have fun and probably like me, it's a news bulletin when they break 100.

Don't worry about your handicap...just have a good time.

I think SBRJohn is a (not so secret) scratch golfer. The rules we used last time were pretty favorable for low scores. I should be in the mid to low 80s if all goes well. Then again, this game has a way of keeping you guessing.

I think I teed off first last year in front of everyone. Its amazing that I even got off the box.

Last year I left Binions at 3 am.... it was 85 degrees.... recently the weather has been in the 100's.... that is not golfing weather.... if it was I'd be in very quickly.

I'm renting so i'll take what i get but i'm just glad we get 4 drinks tokens, think it'll be 4 bottles of water given the heat. Just for comparison btw, in England this summer i haven't experienced a day over 83F, cos we have shit weather over here. Upwards of 100F may be a pleasant surprise

I recommend turning on your oven for about 30 min and then open the door and stand in front of it for 10 seconds. Imagine yourself swinging a golf club. This is how it will be in Vegas for 3 hrs till you finish your round.

Hope we do a little scramble bring some Tee shirts for the winning group ....I lived in Vegas about 9 years I played golf once when it was 115 outside the heat isnt what it seems because its a dry heat and on the course you get a breeze believe it or not
