Billy D, this site used to be the greatest on the net.. today, it is unreadable, sorry.. billy boy, 50% of the posts now are about pts.. billy boy, at 9:50 am, i usually have to look at about 2/3rd's of a page to where i left off last night.. this morning, i had to go to midway to page 2..

but that is not the problem.. the problem was that each thread, except for maybe 6 were useless to read.. they were all about pts, selling pts, or just useless stuff.. billy, here is the proof that sbr is no longer the same. take a look at all the threads.. before, each thread used to have about 12 replies, 187 views.. today, most threads have 12 replies, and 20 views, or 8 replies and 13 views..and this is for a lot of them, not just 1.. the only ones opening those threads are people looking for pts..

billy boy, people are just opening up threads to answer them only with anything.. you can tell these posts are being forced.. billy, sbr will go downhill with this, lets get it back to the way it used to be.. pts are silly. who's the genius that came up with this idea.. plus, do you want to be known as the site that has reward every poster to post? other sites will mock you now. just look at how sbr john mocks EOG for having 30 paid posters. sbr is no better now..

I cant disagree with the stat most thread now have 12 replies and like 15 views everyone is just posting like crazy for points , i guess they just want to drive traffic

whether you want to believe this or not, this is very true.. we do now have 400 paid posters.. and billy, people will find a way to abuse it now.

billy, remember back in 2000 to 2001, Majorwager had a similar thing.. maybe sbr john will remember this.. russy used to offer 50$ for every 1,000 posts to every poster.. guess what.. do you remember how long that lasted? that's right, 5 months. then he took it off.. people were abusing it.. plus, it ruined the quality of the site.. same thing will happen here, billy..

Look all the regulars on here are in panic mode just like every other time someone tries to make SBR a little bit better....These people can even change the colors of the forum without getting absolutely killed, but I bet if you took a poll now 90% of the posters that hated it now like it. Like I've read on here many of times when people always threaten to leave, there will be 3 more people to replace you, SBR will move on. The bottom line is people don't like change, but like everything else they will realize this is geared to benefit them, you'd think SBR was stealing money from them with some of these reactions, they are trying to reward you for your post. I'd be all for everyone with over 4,000-5,000 post have their own separate section that requires a password to be pmed to you daily. Everyone who thinks they have topics that deserve to be on the front page all day, and has all this important information to share with people should have that. That way the people can keep their cliques and still come and go as they want without feeling like something is being taken from them that they feel they help create. Once people see the outline of the point system and realize how hard it is going to be to obtain whatever they are giving away the traffic will die down drastically imo.

Again everyone needs to worry about themselves, everyone is worried about who is posting this who is posting that, if you don't like the system then ignore it. Some people will use it to their advantage, some won't. People want to tell me exactly how many post I can make per day then have the owner email me. Act like you didn't read my post, too long lol, not much longer then your response.

Is that not the purpose of the points system to make people want to post more? You guys keep contradicting yourselves, you want people to post more by rewarding them, but they look bad if they do so.....unreal
