    The Solution is Simple
If 80% of Americans participate in some type of gambling and 25% of Americans have placed Internet wagers we have the makings of a 3rd party here. We can take the White House. So what do you say... Bill for President (No not that Bill)... Bill Dozer.

Gamblers make up about 5% of a vote at best

What the off shore gaming industry is missing is a lobbying group like the NRA. They should put a group together that fights for the industry. They may already have one but I've never heard of it. The industry has the money to do it but they would have to loosen the purse strings a little.

If the Feds were smart they would allow a funding source that taxes players withdrawals and then the player could file loses at the end of the year to offset winnings. Much like you do at a Horse Track. If you win you pay taxes based on your winnings if you dont win and you play a bunch your tax return would be hefty. Either way the Fed gets additional Income. If a book folds you write your balance in that book off.

Trust me, that's more than enough to swing a national election especially with an increasing number of people betting online annually.

Aces is right. We need to be better mobilized and have real representation.
