When I saw TEX -102, my eyes swelled up.....................i believe we will see them go to -120 at a respectable book with ten cent lines............but I've been wrong before and not always right.

Ian Kinsler and Nelson Cruz still out for todays game. The Rangers are 7-9 with them out this season. The UNDER is 11-5 with them sitting out.

Yes, I figured this into my line.

I think the line is probably right on as we sit right now.........TEXAS -115.

Probably made them a tad high making them -120..........and the oddsmakers made them a tad low.

                    -FH-

ps- Just happy I got down at -102.......and have scalped back 25% of my wager at this point.

Im laying some on the UNDER 9.5. Everything is pointing to a High scoring team vs a Team which is going to be lucky to score 1 or 2.

Rather than actually type, I'll paste this for you, enog:

Scalping Moneyline Bets is like shopping for a bargain.

The basic concept of scalping is to find an underdog that will pay off a higher amount than the price it costs for a losing bet on the favorite. You will find that sportsbooks often offer differing lines on the same game or event. And you can use that to your advantage with scalping.

                        Here’s how it works:

Sportsbook A has the Lions/Packers game as:
                        Lions +170
                        Packers -190

                        Sportsbook B has this offering:
                        Lions +145
                        Packers –155

In this scenario, you could win money with no risk by betting like this:

At Sportsbook A, make a bet on the Lions at +170 in the amount of $100 to win $170. Your second wager would be a bet at Sportsbook B on the Packers at a price of -155 in the amount of $155 to win $145. If the Lions win, you collect $170 from Sportsbook A and lose $155 to Sportsbook B for a profit of $15. If the Packers win you will lose $100 to Sportsbook A and win $100 from Sportsbook B, meaning you’d break even.

The thing is, in order to win this bet, you’ll need to have an underdog win if you are betting an equal amount. However, let’s say you like the Packers in this game and you want to bet them. Here’s how you can use these line differentials to your advantage.

Let’s say your regular wager is $50/unit. If you wanted to bet the Packers and are a good line shopper, you’d bet at Sportsbook B and would have to lay $77.50 to win $50. However, if you want to use these line differences you can decrease your risk. The first bet would be $100 at Sportsbook A on the Lions to win $170. The second would be at Sportsbook B on the Packers in the amount of $232.50 to win $150. If the Packers win, you’ll will lose $100 to Sportsbook A and collect $150 from Sportsbook B for a net win of $50. If the Lions win, you will collect $170 from Sportsbook A and lose $232.50 to Sportsbook B for a net loss of $62.50. Essentially, what you have done is lower your initial risk to the point that you are risking $62.50 to win $50 at a price of -124. This allows you to play the favorite at a reduced price.

So not only can you win money with NO risk, you can reduce odds on a favorite and beat the books over the course of time.

Multiply this by 1,000 at high stakes and you have the annual income of a pro.

                        Thanks, Fishhead!

Game never got much higher then this........a few low 120's at a few places.

In the last 25 minutes there was a furious rush on the INDIANS side, one that pushed the RANGERS all the way back down in the -108 or so range.

Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's a mighty struggle.

Tonight it was rather easy on both ends.
