The 'Draw' in Asian Handicap betting?
How does it work? Lets say the 'Draw' is given a handicap of -1.0. What has to happen for a bet to win?? I understand from a team perspective how the handicap works but the 'draw' part is confusing me.

    Cheers guys

Is this in relation to soccer? If so I never understood this either (not just the Asian League but for all), do you have to bet the draw to get the push. If you bet on one team and the game ended in a tie, do you lose since you didn't bet the draw?

Yes, soccer. Asian handicap for teams makes sense. If Team A is - 1. That team must win by 2 goals for you to win. If the team wins by 1, your stake is refunded. The draw though, confuses me.

Do you mean, soccer betting in general? You have 3 outcomes that you can bet on with the match odds. Team A to win, Team B to win or the draw. Of course, you can bet a team to win with the 'draw no bet' option but you get a lot worse odds.

Soccer in a way is harder to bet in theory because unlike MLB and NFL, you have to factor in the draw. With MLB, NFL, if the game is a draw, your stake is refunded (push).
