Why do gambling forum mods go on power trips?

A lot of them were brought up during the steroids era and I would guess a high % of them are still juicing, which causes a short temper.

Moderators should not go on power trips, but we do see it happen. Sometimes the guys have never been in any position of authority in life and they go overboard with this type job. Very few though overall compared to the many who do the job. There are a few out there who are OBVIOUS. That fault should lie on their bosses for letting it happen. I don't want to give my opinions on who because it serves no purpose and the guilty ones will deny till the moon lands on Earth. They don't realize their faults.

SSLP is correct. Mods don't have sex, they don't have real friends, no time for lovey dovey wifey, can't pick a winner and basically are internet addicts.

I think of it more from the side of nobody likes the traffic cop.

5. No social life? - - - I would refer you back to No. 1 on this list, that being I certainly don't have as much of a social life as I wish, but then who does and in this business, as I'm sure you're well aware SSLP, it's tough to just take off a lot of weekends.

I haven't worn any kind of jacket for so long now, you'll see me in a pair of black Chuck Taylor hi-tops when I do wear sneakers, I do need a new pair of glasses and have been thinking Clark Kent style, and while I have a full head of hair there's nothing that gets combed anywhere, much less over.
