Simply put the stigma with Steriods has always been that they will defeat the long standing "clean" records such as HR's, TD's, Batting AVG, Etc.

Golf's records are known almost exclusively by golf nuts. The buzz will only be loud for a month then fade into the past.

Have you ever seen Tiger in person? He isn't that big. For a golfer he looks big and cut, but he is smaller than the average shortstop.

Tiger is 6'1 185....but I would be he is much closer to 6'0

Derek Jeter is 6'3 195.
Hanley Ramirez is 6'3 205

Of course his resume would be tarnished, does the PGA drug test it's players? I seriously doubt anyone is going to volunteer this information.

The PGA DOES drug test and have stiff suspensions for performance enhancing drugs. It started in 2007 and Tiger was a vocal proponent of testing. The PGA also test for recreational drugs like Marijuana but they don't report these violations to the public. Apparently, there has been some failed test but no names but I'd think the fat alcoholic guy would be one.
