This is another example of how the trash liberal media are reporting bullshit that some people are repeating. Their is a difference between a case, which means someone is actually sick, and a positive test that you can have even though you have no symptoms. Most people have little to no symptoms despite testing positive and to say that people who test positive but have no symptoms are a case is bullshit. There are not that many cases of people actually being sick, their are a good number of positive tests.

2.5 million cases so far. Need about 200 million for herd immunity. At 50,000/day, it'll take 11 years to herd immunity. Go ahead and join that herd. Personally I'll try to avoid a virus that will do who-knows-what damage to my lungs.

It's actually not like that at all.

Allergies are not infectious. I'm not going to acquire allergies by going to a packed bar, restaurant or concert. I never have allergy issues. Never have. You either have them or you don't, and if you do it's pretty much unavoidable.

But I'm not stupid enough to think I couldn't catch coronavirus if I act like a covidiot. It's still possible - granted, I'm not going to lock myself in my basement 24/7 to reduce my odds to 0, but I figure I can reduce my odds from 75% as a covidiot to 5% as a sane rational adult by generally avoiding crowds and wearing masks in indoor pubic spaces. Really not that hard.

It will take a long time to test everyone. We are at 1% now. It will be years before even 50% are tested.
By then they should have some more interventions(like remdesivir)that should lower the death rate.
