Don't make the same mistake I did and miss out on seeing The Hangover. Must see. Hurt Locker is supposed to be the movie of the year. Orphan is a movie that you rent on DVD.

Hangover was an average movie. Nothing close to as funny as a Caddyshack type movie though. The gay Chinese mafia guy everyone in the theatre kept laughing at was really annoying to me. But it was a funny movie and I would recommend seeing it.
I prefer thought provoking type movies and 7 pounds with Will Smith was an awesome movie. You are almost lost the whole movie then everything comes together at the end. It was a great movie.
Gran Tourino was a top 15 movie I've ever seen.
Haunting in Connecticut was a better movie than I thought it would be. But still an average horror movie. But worth watching.
Also, if you like Indie flicks and were a fan of early 90's hiphop, the Wackness was a great movie. It features a white 18 year old pot dealer in NYC who strikes a deal with a psychiatrist to give weed for psycho therapy sessions. They become best friends and its just a cool movie. A really fine ass girl was the psychiatrists slut daughter who the pot dealer happens to fall in love with. Good ending.

Hangover was good - best I have seen this summer. I'm looking forward to Jeremy Piven's new movie coming out this weekend. I will also see GI Joe soon.

The Orphan was a huge letdown after all the good reviews I heard. Very predictable and seemed to be a rip off of the Good Son with that Macauley Culkin migit kid.
I fell asleep in GI Joe, it seemed very cheesy, the parts I saw. The Hangover is your best bet but it's nothing earth shattering.

Public Enemies was solid. It was missing something to be considered truly great IMO, but worthwhile.
I enjoyed The Hangover. Good turn-your-brain-off comedy.

I enjoyed Orphan. Parts of it may have been cliché, but the acting was good and I really like watching Vera Farmiga.
A Perfect Getaway was interesting, it's probably something I'd buy on DVD. I do not think I would purchase Orphan, if that means anything to you.

I think it was solid only because of the performances from Depp/Bale. I'm not saying it would have otherwise been 'bad', but the script certainly didn't make this film. I don't think it was missing anything necessarily just because, by all accounts, all John Dillinger was in life was a bank-robber. The movie didn't sensationalize anything or attempt to dig further into his life, and I appreciated that.

Public Enemies was very dissapointing. Could have been so much better considering how really interesting Dillinger's life was.

Public Enemies was a huge letdown, glad I didn't pay $10.50 to go see it. I guess I'm going to have to go rent Gran Turino. Everyone says it's a gem

Gran Torino was retarded.
Role Models was better than The Hangover.
Going to see Section 9 and The Goods this weekend. Sneaking in a flask.

The Goods looks funny, seriously hope it doesn't disappoint. Jeremy Piven is moving up my list of favorite actors.
I thought sneaking in a flask/beer was S.O.P

This Friday "The Goods" is coming out, I already saw it through an advanced promo deal----hilarious. Jeremy Piven is hysterical, very very funny movie.
Next week---the movie I have been looking forward to all summer..."Inglorious Basterds"---Tarantino's new movie about Jewish-American soldiers slaughtering Nazi's in WW2.
