Every time Tredy is involved in a play people are going to wince. He is gonna have to get nasty to make people forget. No one wants to see him get carried off the field.

You dont want to limit anyone from their right to play but i kinda feel how I did when Magic Johnson came back. I wasnt necesarily worried about an accident on the court but you knew that the majority of the people were and the tension is there. I hope Tedy's Docs know what they are doing.

Does anyone know what to expect from Tedy for PT today??

I dont think he should on the field. If something does happen, I wouldnt want to be the one that caused it. Not sure how he can put that on the other players. Yes he is risking his health, but if someone else causes the problem, thats not good for the other player.

I don't really feel symphatetic towards the guy.

My take is that players (who are not on roids or some other drug) do NOT get strokes when they are in tip top physical shape unless it's something heredetery. If it was heredetery he has no business playing football anymore.

I was asking if you thought we would see a smaller player because he quti the roids and if you would want to be the guy who gives him a hard hit on the field.

I don't know if he is going to be visibly smaller and I don't think I have any interest in hitting the crap out of him but I do think he should put his health first and lay off of the roids and forget football. If he decides not put his life and well being first and foremost he does deserve to suffer the consequences which may be a nasty hit or another stroke or whatever it may be.

Based on his actual diagnosis he should be fine. He suffered from a thromboembolic stroke...basically, he had a small hole in his heart that caused a blood clot to form which then travelled to his brain and caused the stroke. Sounds pretty bad I know. But the heart defect has been repaired and the stroke obviously left him without any neurologic deficits, otherwise he would not have been cleared by so many physicians so soon. As bad as the media makes it sound, his prognosis is excellent. Taking a football hit is not going to cause the heart defect to come back...he's good to go guys.

I expect him to make a psychological impact for the NE defense tonight. I'm taking NE minus the 10 (jumped on them late), also taking the under since Buffalo won't score too many tonight. NE makes a statement tonight.

I agree that Bruschi's health is a non-issue. This stroke was caused by something not even related to football. If he's medically cleared to play, I see no problem. The only novelty is that he DID have a stroke just months ago, and is now strapping on a helmet. He's really lucky to be alive and well, but the fact remains that he IS alive and well and quite capable of playing as he ever was.

On a side-note, Bruschi seems a little off-kilter in the same way Romo was and I wonder if he's taking some kind of stuff that Romo was taking. Maybe "live cell therapy". If anyone saw that 60-minutes spot on Romo a couple weeks ago, it would make your skin crawl.
