Canadians: Why is junior golf so big up there?

brother won a tournament in Ontario few weeks back and turns out its huge up there with a section in the newspaper he got included in and everything, do you have guys booking action at junior golf tournament? nicky have you ever taken bets on such an event

There's a lot of really good Canadian golf amateurs these days. Maybe because of that there is more of an emphasis on junior golf?

Probably because they have only one good golfer on the PGA tour, junior golf allows them to speculate on who is going to be the next big thing but really just gives them a lot of false hope.

Could you "tee" the next one up a little bit higher for me to make it more challenging.....

Seriously, few Canadians beyond the immediate family of the golfers themselves could even name a Canadian junior golfer. I can't and my whole life revolves around sports.
