#87are you retarded? T.O a good guy to have on your team?
The guy is a cancer.
Originally posted by SamsNCharge99T.O. is one of the best WR's in the game
YES...he has a big mouth
YES...he causes some problem
but his numbers don't lie....10TDs last year and over 1,000 yrds. Numbers were DOWN b/c Brad Johnson played 3 games last year when Romo was out.
TO is also good guy for team....in the fact that Roy E Williams has NOOO work ethic b/c he played in Detroit. When he came to Dallas, TO was the only one to push Williams and make sure he did what he was supposed to.
He is still a good receiver for any team...if annything LEE EVANS will DO WORK b/c teams will double Owens which will leave Evans open down fieldComment -

Way too much degen action on Ten -3. Even al michaels knew it was rigged. He was on Buf +3.5Comment -

#93Exactly, he could have run around like the little chicken he was and easily stayed out of the end zone with time running out. There was no rush! The Bills were playing for a return. They didn't give a crap if he wasn't going to end up punting the ball!Originally posted by mr. leisureWas there even a rush? didn`t seem like he had to run in the end zoneComment -

#97You know what, the more I think of it screw Al Michaels too. If that means anything to you your crazy. If I am crazy for liking money and taking calculated risks to advance my wealth. Hell then all stock brokers must be crazy. Anyone that invests in anything must be crazy.Comment -

#101What Al Michaels said summed up the reality of NFL broadcast rights, network and cable TV, and the National Football League itself. And that is this:Originally posted by jedipicksYou know what, the more I think of it screw Al Michaels too. If that means anything to you your crazy. "We know that millions and millions of people bet on NFL football, even freakin' pre-season NFL football. We know that the skyrocketing popularity of the NFL in the past 20 to 30 years is due in great part to the gambling population. We are grateful for that rising popularity, because it has put billions of dollars in our wallets. However, we can NEVER publicly acknowledge this fact, because it would reflect poorly on our 'ethics' and 'morality.' And that's why we fight legislation to make sports gambling legal in more places than it already is, because it makes us look like we take the 'high road' on this ethical issue.
"But in our penthouse offices, we secretly love the fact that you are all betting on our games. And we know what the spreads are and we track your business very carefully. So if we ever do make casual mention of the fact that we are aware of the gambling public, it is our policy to denigrate you immediately afterwards, in order to maintain our high moral ground."

#102Michaels and the Swami often make reference to the NFL spread. They never add a negative when they do so, so I would relate the fact that Al did so tonight purely to preseason betting. It was a bettor's comment. Somebody who doesn't bet won't comment on preseason in that way.Comment -
