And to voice the other argument, football has been here for over a month. The CFL really does play an entertaining brand of football with different strategy and nuances from the American game, and it's very well televised for those with satellite TV.

Preseason football is overrated. A bunch of premadonnas holding out of camp and the ones who play only do so for a couple plays. It may be the most boring sport to watch in preseason out of all major 5 sports in the US.

On the contrary pavy, there are a lot of rookies and journeymen that AREN'T premadonnas that are out there fighting for a spot on the team. A few holdouts don't define the entire preseason.

The intensity level of preseason is only 35% of regular season. Would you watch a NASCAR race if the speed limit was 65 mph? Hell no!

You wouldn't watch an exhibition game between two soccer teams featuring their bench players? Of course it isn't the same intensity level, but if you enjoy the sport, it is still fun to watch.
