#37I've got so many... SO many...
One that really stands out in my mind - NCAAF Season, I always tend to do these gigantic parlays and teasers...
I had a monster parlay FINALLY developing for a change. One of those situations where I was gambling bill money like the penetrating degenerate that I am. I NEEDED this win to cash out and fix the damage I did with my deposits. So this involved a last leg of Michigan getting 3 points I think against undefeated Mich State... With the game in hand, I remember being with family at my moms house. Time to RELAX! Up by 2: Even if Mich State gets the ball back or some crazy bullshit happens, they'll get a last second field goal and I'll still cover. All is well with the universe. I was just so happy counting my ~10K in winnings I was about to have. I was just keeping an eye on the game with my Iphone YahooSports app. I was just waiting for it to say final.
Refresh. Refresh. "3 seconds left? What's wrong with this thing, just tell me I won."
This is what happened:
I was so mentally ****** up I hid in the bathroom shaking in anger and anguish trying to understand what the penetrate just happened and how I could be so penetrating unlucky.

#38Few years ago sports select in Canada we can play pools. If you get all straight up winners right in a week you win and split around 200k.
Bet 80 bucks and all week had Chiefs picked to upset Steelers because of Lakerboys thread as he convinced me and had a gut feeling myself. At the convenience store on Sunday I changed my mind last second and picked Steelers instead on the ticket.
Chiefs destoyed Steelers that week and I would have won 40k. Instead lost the 80. I was numb and didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning as the money would have changed my life. I think for the next month I drank alcohol every night to numb the pain lol.Comment -

#40A close second for me is a tie between Pats Falcons Superbowl and Ducks Oilers game 5 with Ducks scoring 3 straight in the last minute to force overtime and eventually win.Comment -

#41Many but some that stand out are a Memphis v LAC playoff game a few years back, the team I was on was up by 20-25 from memory going into the final qtr and lost. Reg season I'd prob shrug my shoulders but a playoff game that was tough.
Toronto v Boston NHL playoff game a few seasons back was tough too, Leafs up by two goals late third period lose the game and series. Not epic bad beat but again the situation and I'm a Leafs fan.
If there's any ozzies or NRL bettors here there was two games between South Sydney and Sydney where the team that was behind came back and won from double digits in the last few minutes in the same season (would be the equivalent of the Browns and Steelers both scoring two TD's to win inside the two minute warning in the same season), on the right side and wrong side of those two games.
Lost a few soccer under 2.5 with the first goal late 80 minutes, to be honest if you bet a lot of soccer you end up shrugging them off as they do happen.Comment -

#43High stakes poker game too big for my bankroll. Figured I would take a stab though.
Playing well and tripled my buy in.
I get dealt JJ. Opponent 88. We both flop a set and turn river and wind up all in before the river. Only card in the deck that I lose to is the case 8 that sure enough hits.
Tough beat to stomach as it was by far the biggest game I ever sat at before or since. Not sure I would've if I did, but I didn't even have enough money for another buy in. Just walked home with my tail between my legs.Comment -

#442015. Bills signed both Matt Cassel and Tyrod Taylor as FA. They also had #1 draft Choice EJ Manuel from 2 years ago. Everyone assumed Cassel was gonna start the season as QB, maybe Manuel. I was convinced it was gonna be Tyrod. I loved him from college and as Baltimore's backup he always looked good in pre season. Got real good odds, about 3-1 or thereabouts on it before training camp. Sure enough Tyrod wins the job in TC. All I have to do is wait until after game 1 is over to collect. I go to the book after the game and I see they graded it as a loss. WTF? I didn't watch the game but go to the box score and Tyrod was the QB. No one else threw a pass. I contact the book, and they say sir, it's a loss, Matt Cassel was the starter. WTF? I finally get to look at the play by play. That asshole Buddy Ryan starts the game with a trick play, Cassel behind center, Tyrod lined up wide. All that work and studying and I get screwed. It wasn't my biggest $$$$ bad beat, but definitely the weirdest and most frustrating.
1st & 10 at BUF 27(11:14 - 1st) M.Cassel at QB (T.Taylor at WR). L.McCoy left end to BUF 21 for -6 yards (K.Langford).Comment -

#48worst beat for me was betting the warriors in games 5 and 6 in the 2016 finals thinking they were a lock to win the series. i made some back taking the cavs and the points in game 7 but definitely lost more than i won. i really thought game 5 was a super lock at home for the warriors to win.Comment -

#56I've had one in my life, compared to the dozens of bad beats.
This took place in around 2008 or 2009 when college football coaches were dumber than high school coaches when it came to being up by 1 point with time running nout. I had the 2nd half under.
Arizona St had the ball and were up by 1 point with time running out in the game. So the opposing coach tells his team to let the ASU runner score so they can kick the extra point to go up by 8 still giving them a chance to score a TD and 2-point conversion.
ASU running back gets the ball and gets the first down and is about 15 yards from the goal line with an easy walk-in score which would have put the total over for the second half. What does he do? He goes to the turf! With the first down ASU runs out the clock and wins the game and the 2nd half goes under.Comment -

#59this is easy and buries anyone in here so far.
over giants vikings playoff game 41.5
its 41 -0 with 11 min left in the 3rd quarter. you guessed it no score the rest of the game. final drive giants ran out the clock. they got the ball with over 10 mins left in the 4th
said to my pal Scott, the coach just told the kicker to miss the field goal `cause the team has the under
told him that the kicker said, fukk you coach, that makes me look bad - so I`ll hit the upright.

I never got into horse racing thank god but I ended up putting my entire balance (2500ish) on him and his freakin shoe came off 10 seconds in and he finished last. Lesson learned. #68Way too many to count. Latest one had Pat's plus 1.5 against Tenn on second leg of a two team teaser.
14 seconds left, was feeling pretty good all Brady had to do was avoid throwing a pick six, well we know how his Pat's career ended.Comment -

#70This is still the one I remember most, though I don't recall which teams it was so long ago. But in 2007 some NBA regular season game, had the under, and it was winning comfortably.
Team up 3 has the ball with a second or two left in the game, in-bounds the ball from mid court. Pass is stolen, and they hit a 60 foot three pointer to send the game to OT, and the under then loses.Comment
