I helped matty find real authentic California souvenirs. Sandals, hand-blown glass, and sticky icky weed.

You certainly should appreciate your area! LA was sort of a letdown compared to your part of the OC.
I love the pipe so much that I wanna keep it clean so I can either bring it back with me or at least ship it to myself. Should've bought a plain-jane one too.

Please PM me your address Rogatien. Will use it as the sender address on the package I send to myself. You're not scared of the authorities, are ya?
And I don't get Bread's joke either.

Bunch of film shots I got processed today... beach shots were taken this PM at Santa Monica State Beach. Water was great. Wildlife was even better. Canyon shot was converted to B&W to satisfy Bread's AA reference.
Had forgotten about my short visit to Mandalay Bay's "Shark Reef". It was completely lame outside that croc, which is the very first creature you encounter on your way to aquatic boredom. Them sharks were tiny.

Beyond the bit of road that leads to Dodger Stadium... there's a bunch of small country houses along a steep hill, very odd to find nature there. AnselAdams-ified for His Breadness.

The last batch of color photos had a 70's feel to them. Did you do that on purpose?

Yes, high speed film. Was my first try with it (Fuji 800z), I like it very much. Should make for cool photos at Alcatraz and the Giants game.

I don't know what you are being all uppity for. I see some very interesting use of perspectives and composition, many notches above your typical tourist point-and-click.
But I don't get the feeling that, in his heart, Matt Rain is an Ansel Adams. I wonder if there is a photographic maniac lurking beneath that would end up more of a Mapplethorpe taking pics of guys with unsettlingly large objects stuck in their very small holes.
I could see Matt Rain being banned in Cincinnati some day.

I'm little more than a point-and-clicker. I just point-and-click a lot and take out the garbage afterwards.

It's that huge Santa Monica beach blitty. Quite impressive, with a couple helicopters flying over the area every 5 minutes and Baywatch-style lifeguards.
Took me an hour to find parking. At least the water was perfectly comfy this time.

Matty who understand this Americans. At the bash lets ditch them, find a piano bar somewhere, request a Coralie Clement bossanova and chain smoke all night looking for some milfs that can appreciate our eccentricities. Bon?
