Pleasers are similar to a teaser bets, only you give versus receive more points. Additional points are either subtracted from the underdog or added to the favorite (if the regular line on your selection is -4 and you select a pleaser bet, then your line would be -10).

Here are good examples of pleaser bets:

    Dallas -3 Pittsburgh -8

    Washington +3 Cleveland +8

A "Two Team Pleaser bet" on Dallas and Pittsburgh would be:
    Dallas (-9)

    Pittsburgh (-14)

A "Two Team Pleaser bet" on Washington and Cleveland would be:

    Washington (-3)

    Cleveland (+2)

Pleaser bet payoffs depend on how many teams are in your wager.

Just the opposite of teaser. You give up 6 points on each of your picks(2 team mininum)instead of getting them.Pays quite well when you hit.Millenium did it,but I have'nt seen it much since. If you found a place that does it....Please post it....Its a cool bet when you feel real strong.

        Bet Jam has pleasers.

I dont play more than a 3 teamer. Usually just on college football.

They pay very well when you hit.

I usually do not play more than 40 bucks on a pleaser.

I know the odds are not very good, but if you can find some weak lines and some teams that like to run up the score it can be a good bet.

Can't imagine you can be succesful long term but it is pretty nice when you hit.

Do any books offer open pleasers (leaving one spot open)?

I ran the statistical odds on pleasers, and there is no possible set of lines where a pleaser is a better bet then betting on the teams straight. That doesn't mean you can't have fun with them, but there's never going to be any value.

Only works for strongest possible picks. So if you could play an open pleaser, spread out over a week or so, that could be very profitable. But if you have to play two games on the same day it would be a sucker bet.

Pretty sure nobody offers "open pleasers". Most places are tight with pleasers. Most won't take college fb or bb totals on pleasers.

Thanks fellows....i am not the least bit interested in them. Anyone who knows me knows I am strictly a straight bettor. Just curious as to what they are.
