there was no reason for stimulus and the extra 600 per week. either one or the other. if anything do more stimulus and cancel the 600 per week. the value of a job has been brought down dramatically.
plus the 600 is not tiered like unemployment. min wage person gets 600. i get 600. we should be tiered like the state unemployment rate based on our earnings.Comment -
Everyone is aware that Trump wasn't the magical person who wrote the whole stimulus bill(s)?
The House and Senate had to go back n forth(as with any bill) to compromise on something that Trump would sign.
Trump didn't just snap his finger and say give every person that files for unemployment $600 a week till July.
For all of the lower wage earners that are getting "rich" in the short term, the huge corporations and businesses have reaped way better "rich" windfalls over the past 3+ years.Comment -
No one has ever thought giving away trillions in tax payer money is magic, it's socialism. And Trump was the one who signed it into law in order to keep his support from the socialists.

Not sure how that is possible. People can only apply if they've lost their job for a qualifying reason. And the less you average in earnings per quarter, will lower one's overall 4 quarter average to base the amount for an unemployment check. If one were to constantly be on and off unemployment, it would keep lowering their average quarterly earnings and every time they filed a claim, and if approved, their check would get lower and lower. Any unemployment earnings aren't calculated towards overall earnings in quarter.Comment -

For Trump to take trillions from tax payers and give government hand-puts to businesses and to pay people to not work is about the most perfect example of that in America in our lifetimes. And how can Trump take trillions from taxpayers? We don't pay hardly any taxes anymore, remember; We all supposed to be rich with our tax cuts and jobs act. We're all supposed to be living it up and spending all this excess money that didn't go towards unconstitutional taxation on hard earned money.
Roughly 8%(and this was in 2019) of yearly Federal budget goes towards paying interest on the National debt. That is just to pay interest due. Not even putting a dent in the overall National Debt. Some other funding's from the yearly budget that add up together to roughly 8%, are Transportation/Infrastructure, Science/Medical research, Education, Non-military International Aid, and other miscellaneous smaller programs. All of those equal roughly 8%, yet no one seems to have a problem with 8%(and growing) of the budget going to interest alone.
Meaning: It's all made up. We live in a fiat currency world. There is no tangible, physical objects of value behind our currency, or anyone's. There is no gold, or Beanie Babies, or Garbage Pail Kid trading cards, to back up our currency.
It's all a farce. A charade.
No one is responsible for the "debt", because it will never get paid. Debt holders will continue to reap profits from yearly tax revenues(regardless of how low they become from lower and lower taxes) for interest on the hypothetical "debt."
The ultra rich will continue to stay and grow more and more wealthy. While kids in 3rd world countries are paid to create memes and FB pages that are pro or con, for Republicans or Democrats, and blast out distorted truths and silly memes. So they are shared around social media circles to keep working class fighting about the have's and the have not's.Comment -
this unemployment madness is leading to the scum of the earth trying to get any money they can from any people's information they steal or buy off the dark web or from hacks into databases like the equifax disaster
i use credit monitoring/id theft/protection services and they caught someone trying to file for unemployment benefits with name/address/etc and they were somehow successful at signing up for it (probably due to the covid madness leading to so many applying and the agencies having trouble so they simplified stuff and made it easier to get granted UI)
i told my employer the next day in case the paperwork still made it through the mail to their building even after i had contacted the proper people and told them it was fraud and the guys who did this ended with NOTHING but a police report filed in their jurisdiction...
that was a fun day... but like i said i'm protected so these scum have zero chance of getting ************/accounts/store cards/debit cards/loans/school loans/etc setup with my stolen infoComment -

I am NOT condemning Trump for implimenting "Democratic-Socialist" fundamentals,
