Neteller Conversation

I just called up neteller and told them I was moving to Canada at the end of Feb. and asked them if they decide to pull out of the us market before i move, please don't close my account.

They CS guy said that they would be keeping my account open, but I would not be able to transfer money to some sites.

He said when I do move to canada I will have to open another account and they will close my existing account.

At the very end of the conversation he said "if" they pull out of the us market. lol

Was hoping they might stay in the us market, but after this conversation, it seems certain they will be pulling out before the end of Feb.

Somthing about his tone gave me the impression that this is already in the works.

There's always the option of P2P transfers just like Western Union. Neteller won't be able to recognize all individuals and say that this is a gambling transaction.

At some point they will have to pull out. My guess would be it won't be till after March Madness is over though.

Neteller does much of its biz through poker and casino sites not just sports sites. I think seasonal trends in sports betting wouldn't be a very big determining factor with them. Not that i know anything.
