    Tradesports.com are con artists.
Today was my first day there. My first game was the Ohio St. over, I won that trade. My next was USC winning. That wasnt for much of a profit so when I noticed I wasnt credited for it I let it go. But when I took a chance and bout some contracts and texas and never was credited I contacted the help. They said they see no records of it. I asked them for my money back and I will see tommorow if I can get it back. STAY AWAY!!!

Its an exhange, they said I have to call back in three hours...They almost had me believing that I didnt make the bets/buy the contracts...hopefully I did and I am not going crazy. Why would I be watching the game? Why would the screen say my funds are frozen(in use)? At least I beat the prick! Pags how about you?

I can't speak on your particular situation, but from my use of the site I can tell you a few things:

          1. You funds will be frozen even if you wager is not matched.

          2. If a wager is matched, there will be an indication of that under the board where it says "current positions." If you haven't been matched, the only difference is that your position will be '0' but the side or total or whatever will still be listed.

I don't know if this applies in your particular situation, but I would check to see if those funds have been unfrozen after the expiry of the market. I hope that's the case.

That's pretty bad , hope you get paid, I always thought Tradesports had a decent reputation & was going to open an A/C there (Having 2nd thoughts now)

I always take screenshots of all my bets just in case a dispute arises.

second the opinion that it will freeze your funds even if it doesn't place the order, but you can always cancel any open orders that haven't been filled yet. what might have happened is you just thought you got filled but really didn't. it can be tricky, no doubt about it.

I personally don't play with Trade Sports, but I know a couple guys who have played with them for over three years without trouble. New interfaces for betting can often create mistakes or misunderstandings of what is happening. Either way hope you figure it out. I certainly think "con artists" is a bit extreme for a title.

I just processed a bank wire withdraw, so I should have my money in three days. It is still a mystery about my contracts, but at least I made some profit.

I suspect these guys of gambling themselves on the board, which is ok, as Mansion does it too, but these Irish cvnts deny it.

Tradesports have market makers who are independent from the company.. I know a couple of them and I've seen the contract -- they get a better interface and reduced fees.

                              Fabric,

I have seen one other TS complaint like this and the player was eventually credited in full. If you did verify that the wager was pending, let us know so I can look into it.

As Lakerfan mentioned, it is common for players not to complete the process when they are used to a different format. I have failed to confirm a few bets myself. When you are firing in multiple plays it's easy to mess up. Bodog with the extra confirmation screen comes to mind. =/
