    White House Just Announced....
...they expect 90,000 DEATHS in next 15 days.

However, that is a lagging indicator and as such total cases should begin declining.

But wow....90k dead in 2 weeks from this!!

Why don’t I believe this is possible? I hope this is just over estimating. That would be absolutely horrible

yeah, it's called the peak... nothing to fret about

as long as we flattened the curve enough, we'll be ok... penetrate the major cities like NY and such... they way they live they doomed themselves

Sounds like a trump set up. A few thousand die and he claims victory. Sounds like him.

Its possible since there is still so little testing.

Usually it takes 17-19 days to die but we could have people that were infected a week ago and won't be tested till they go to the hospital and die.

So when there’s only 50k instead of 90k they can claim the steps they made to reduce the number worked.

People will think of a way to try and blame trump whether there's more or less deaths, sad really.

100,000 is best case scenario if people shelter in place. But a lot of people are still gathering in large masses at parks and trails or to shop at Costco. We could see many more deaths. A lot of rural areas don't have a hospital in 250 miles radius.

I expect to be higher. Texas hasn't had it hit really yet. Plus we have many nationalities.

My mom lost a cousin in bronx. Byeshea is suffering with it. I doubt any family won't be hit.

However, that is a lagging indicator and as such total cases should begin declining.

But wow....90k dead in 2 weeks from this!!
That's hardly overwhelming considering the U.S. has had years where 50k, died from the regular seasonal flu and nobody freaks out about that. More people die from heart disease annually and you don't see people freaking out about that protesting fast food joints or anything which contributes.

This whole thing is bizarre. If you eliminate the NYC area from the USA overall data it's really not that bad. At this point all of the new hot spots like FL and ATL are the result of NYers not complying and spreading that shit up and down the coast. Seattle the original hot spot in the USA has done ridiculously better than NYC. I guess people have listening and reading comprehension skills still in Seattle whereas they don't in NYC.

That chart Dr. Birx flashed at the presser today was quite revealing. NY and NJ were way up in the nosebleeds and all the other states were flattened out including CA and WA. Shows how stupid NYC is and how inept their leadership is.

Shows how stupid NYC is and how inept their leadership is.

that is only because they haven't made it yet. The damn mardi gras and spring break should add to the totals.

Some things i have heard or read. If you can't smell or taste than you have it. It starts as a sore throat. It can be killed in the early stages. Drink hot lemon water or hot tea. It will kill the virus in your mouth. It it gets into your lungs it becomes rock hard phlegm. You will coughing up blood to get it out. The people that die is because pneumonia. Your body fights this disease and if you have any underlying problems they go out of control. It killed a 40 yr old runner that was in perfect health. good luck

he gave all our backlog of safety equipment to china. Now they are returning it and he is acting like they are giving it to us. I didn't support hillary but she couldn't be this bad.
