What's the longest you can remember going without an oil change for your car?

Been a year for me and I am going on Saturday for one. Have gone about 3,700 miles. I'm sure someone out there has one year beat.

My dad changes his oil every 3500 miles. I use his
drain oil so every 3500 miles. Oh yea that was 30
years ago.

I always got an oil change every 3 to 5000 KM. My Chevy had over 300,000 km and ran perfect.

Change the oil and the vehicle will last you years longer. Trust me

$22 at Mr Lube, free coffee and paper. !0 minutes you're done, lube the joints, top up windshield fluid, new oil and filter. 25K vehicle and small price to pay IMO. It worked for me.

Never....had an Olds when I was in college that I bought used. Never changed the oil....ever. Had it for 3 years and put 30K miles on it (bought it with 75K) Smacked it up...end of story.

i don't ever change the oil. when i need to add some i add synthetic. i don't believe that oil filters do anything and i don't believe that synthetic oils "break down". i also never wash my car with soap, (when you use soap you take some of the wax off of the paint job), i just use water and a little elbow grease.

3000 is a number created by the Oil change companies. I usually wait 5000. Never had a problem waiting.
