People pull their hair out over having made bad bets they regret having made but you at least stand a chance of doing ok on the bet.
Anyone here ever buy anything that they knew right away was a terrible buying decision? That Chevy Chase moment where he bought the car he didn't want in Vacation? In Minnesota they instituted a nanny state law where if you buy a vehicle and have buyers remourse you can return it within so many days and just pay a restocking fee. Not sure what happens now with the clunker trade in dealie. That's how the new car purchase took place on Vacation where the dealer shredded the old trade in before the deal was finalized.
The ultimate worst buying decisions are when you hear young guys that are out to impress coochies by buying them washer and dryer sets, bling and expensive trips.etc.Three weeks later they are with some other guy and you are stuck with the bill.
So people here that bitch and moan that they hosed themselves making a bad bet should take heade and not be so hard on themselves. At least they got something for their money.
I bought a 19 inch color tv out of a want ad 25 years ago for $45 and I knew it sucked when I saw it.Like an idiot,I bought it and it fizzled out a week later.I lost the $45 but it was a good purchase because I really learned from that mistake.Always go with your immediate first impression hunches.
