If you've ever collected sports memorabilia
Interesting and pretty funny piece from ESPN.com by Bill Simmons.

You won't believe what Bill Simmons saw at the National Sports Collectors Convention.

I am into it very much. Most of what I have, I obtained myself. I am more into PreWar SGC & PSA cards though. I don't trust any memorabila unless i got it myself or from a handful of guys I know arond the country.

Great find Bread. Some really interesting pieces. I am kind of over buying memorabila, but I love to look at it.

The only things I have would be consider more like straight autographs. I have a signed UFC Brock Lesnar glove a good friend of mine got for my birthday from Brock's lawyer. And I have Roy Jones Jr. signed glove that I had him sign at the halftime of a basketball game he was playing in, in the middle of Kansas.

Good stuff Bread. The Tom Landry hat would be a cool piece.

                Good find Uncle.

I have more PSA/BGS/SAI cards than I can shake a stick at. The only cards I ever bought as an investment though were 1986 Topps Traded Bonds rookies (PSA 10's and BGS 9.5's). Got them years back at a great price; I should just burn them now
