it was awesome. he has really aged the past 5 yrs though. might not make it more than a few more years

Yeah i was surprised lmao i didn't think he had that in him, had to be lots of adrenaline being back at Assembly Hall again with the crowd going ape shit as they should. Ticket prices were wild

I was surprised, he seemed to have great memory (which obviously he should and I doubt his wife would have let this happen if it was going to be a horrible scene... but from what i've heard around Indy sports circles he is in really bad shape with memory) So this was great to see he knew what was going on damn near 100%

i've been following college basketball since 1986 when "never nervous" pervis ellison almost single-handedly carried Lville through the tourney that year.

yes, knight and vitale are lifelong friends and it was all fun and games for a few seconds on saturday until dickie v touched his hair. he became genuinely upset at that. bobby was already wound up with emotion being back in that gym but TRUST ME he was not happy when his hair got touched. his face changed dramatically and got extremely red meaning his blood pressure rose.

i am 1000% sure of this. don't touch bobby's hair and don't call him "Knight" like that one indiana student did in 99 or 2000.

dickie v was laughing out of discomfort. bobby damn near broke dickie's arm after getting his hair touched.

bobby was absolutely pissed off. just watch how red his face gets. that means a rise in blood pressure.

Since it was a Purdue game they should have let him toss a chair across the court. A couple of fun facts about the chair throwing game. First they ask him why he threw the chair and his response was he saw a little old lady who was standing in that area and didn't have a chair to set on so he was helping her out. The second was right after that game Assembly Hall had the chairs chained together on the front row so that episode couldn't occur again.

On a side note Hoosier fans...what is wrong with Indiana basketball? Not trying to shit stir but that program should be a powerhouse and hasn't been relevant in years. Did the Kelvin Sampson era really set this team back that it can't recover from?
