20% bonus at WSEX - questions

Couple of questions if anybody knows:
1) is this for first deposits only? I don't think it is, but would be good to know for sure.
2) is the book-to-book transfer from Pinny the best option, or does this mean that future Neteller transactions are no longer free? (usually the case with book-to-book transfers).

I e-mailed WSEX but no reply yet.

Ok, spoke with them. Here's the scoop.

- Deadline for transfer is 5PM ET tomorrow.

- Good on all direct transfers from Pinny. NOT on deposits from Neteller (after withdrawal from Pinny).

- Sportsbook to sportsbook transfer will not affect future Neteller fees (one free one every ten days at WSEX).

- 5x rollover, bonus on first 10K.

I don't think it's necessary to mention the other forum. It should apply to all direct transfers from Pinny.

This is FANTASTIC news. I just got off the phone with both WSEX and Pinnacle support and even though I already made a request from Pinnacle this morning, the lady told me that it would be fine as long as I emailed them. Had a few laughs on the phone with the lady from Pinnacle lol. Anyways, this day of gloom at least has a little bright spot with a free two dimes.

As with everything today, there is contradictory evidence on this. I called WSEX an hour ago and asked them this exact question and they told me it is NOT limited to new accounts. I’ve had an account there for years and they assured me I’m eligible for it.

But as I mentioned in another thread, good luck getting the transfer done by 5:00 PM EST Friday, which they reiterated to me is the deadline by which the Pinnacle transfer must be completed (not requested) in order to get the bonus.

Yeah, now when I think about it, I called WSEX first and asked about the bonus and if they wanted my Pinnacle information to make the transfer to my account and they told me to get in touch with Pinnacle first (so obviously there was an understanding in our conversation that I am already established at WSEX with an account).

But like you said, I doubt it gets transferred by the deadline tomorrrow, since I haven't even received the email from my NT request this morning.

Unfortunately, when they are subsequently surprise attacked by a pack of dogs, the cat scampers up a tree just in time, while the fox is devoured because he loses precious time trapped in indecision as to which of his available methods of escape would be most effective.

I’m feeling more and more like the fox with this Pinnacle situation. I still haven’t pulled the trigger and put in a withdrawal request. Should I try for the WSEX bonus even though it sounds like I don’t have a prayer of meeting the deadline? Should I put in for a transfer to Bet Jamaica and hope to get a bonus from them? Should I just request a Neteller withdrawal (and evidently be ineligible for most or all of these bonus deals from other books, since they seem to require a book-to-book transfer from Pinnacle)? Should I wait to see what “mystery book” the Major is supposedly going to announce tomorrow morning he has worked out a bonus deal with for Pinnacle transfers? Should I wait to see what other books jump in with incentive offers in the next day or two to try to entice Pinnacle customers looking for a home? Should I break my withdrawal up into different methods, or put in a request for some of it now and some of it tomorrow when maybe I’ll have a better idea of what’s available, or will this merely confuse Pinnacle or be rejected by them anyway because Americans are required to withdraw their whole balance?

Looks like WSEX deadline is flexible. They're taking a big step taking on all these Pinny players, so some improvising is to be expected.

If this business is like most businesses in the more regulated and regular world (I know, I know) then there should be lots of competition for the Pinnacle money when it does finally land at Neteller or wherever. We should be seeing only the beginning of the competition for the Pinny dollars.

So of course WSEX extended the deadline. If you run a store and have a sale but there's a blizzard, you extend the sale. Gives some glimmer of hope that normal principles apply here..

What do you do if you've already requested a withdrawal via Neteller and still haven't received your money? Is it worth the trouble to request a direct transfer to WSEX? Has anyone had a problem with Pinny transferring your funds to WSEX and has WSEX made good on their promises?

Quite a few posts on Prescription from people claiming they had heard nothing on their withdrawal requests since yesterday, so they simply started from scratch and resubmitted a new request and they were paid in seconds. Might be worth a try for those with withdrawals in limbo.

I finally pulled the trigger on my request. Major is delaying whatever announcement he has about a bonus offer, and I didn’t see any new offers this morning specific to the Pinnacle situation. So I sent Pinnacle an e-mail requesting a $10,000 transfer to WSEX to max out that bonus, a $2,500 transfer to Bet Jamaica to max out that bonus, and the remainder to my Neteller account.

Countless things can go wrong (I won’t get the WSEX bonus due to the deadline, the three-part request will be too complicated to be processed, Pinnacle will have ceased doing book-to-book transfers, the transfers will be processed but the money itself won’t follow and so it will later be taken back out of my accounts, etc.), so I’ll be very pleasantly surprised if this all goes through without a hitch.

Anyway, we’ll see.

I like WSEX a lot for safety and Bet Jamaica almost as much. My concern, and the reason I was stalling to see if other offers were forthcoming, is more with the rollovers, as I find very few bets at WSEX and almost as few at Bet Jamaica any more on the things I play. My guess is it’ll take me several months to complete the Bet Jamaica rollover and maybe as much as a year for WSEX, unless I forfeit a certain percentage by playing a lot of near-scalps.

Interesting. I would've gone that 3 way cashout route myself, but as I told looker last night, the last thing I want is more confusion and what I want most is my money, the two dimes from WSEX would be an added bonus I would like, but I'd much rather have the money immediately. That said, if my transfer isn't processed in a timely fashion today, I will most likely send in 5-10 Neteller cashout requests over and over in their cashier system since that seems to be the word across the forums as to how to expedite the process today.

I'm passing on the nickel bonus at BetJamaica, because when I had them funded as a book, I'd place maybe 1 bet every 2 or 3 days there. I'd feel much more at ease completing a 6 figure rollover at WSEX than a 5 figure rollover at Jamaica.

I replied that I had already communicated with them before putting in the request and been assured I am eligible for the bonus.

I fully expect to get it. I’ll be surprised if they pull a VIP on me, though stranger things have happened.

I haven’t done much with the live betting and am not particularly confident of my ability to handicap it and play at positive EV. But if there are some break even scalps available with other places that have live betting (as risky as that can be with everything changing so rapidly), that could certainly be a good way to make progress on the rollover.

Do you mean you already withdrew from Pinnacle to Neteller and are now depositing into WSEX via Neteller? If that's the case, I'll start my requests on a Neteller cashout now, since all I think you got to do is mention EOG.

Im in a live chat with WSEX right now, Beckie is tellling me you dont need to do a book to book anymore to get the bonus. Just for me to contact them once I deposit, and have the bonus code and pinnacle ID ready.
