Wooo COSTA RICA ,here is a little know secret fact .
You are more likely to be murdered while walking the streets in Costa Rica than strolling the streets of AMERICA !
Hmm,is it because "anything "goes in C.R.?
They have to know C.R. is also harboring "crooked" Books,so, is there no Law Enforcement there ?
On the positive side though, they have no lacking of beautiful women and spectacular scenery,so if you gotta go ,why not at least have a good time enjoying the side benefits before you die ?

There is a bigger chance getting murdered in Detroit, Atlanta or St.Louis than in beautiful and quiet Costa Rica.

Abe if this were true people like Tom Brady , Mel Gibson , Chuck Norris ( my idol ) amongst other would not invest and buy multi million dollar mansions.

Costa Rica like any other country has their bad areas but aside from that most people that come here dont wanna go back.

Abe let me know next time your in town , i could use some extra cash for NFL

People always get their countries mixed up.

I live there part time. I feel safe but its not like being in a nice area in a first world country type safe. There is some police but not enough and the private security is untrained and poorly organized. CR would be much better if the private security companies could get it together and be more of a presence.

                        Thanks SSLP.

I live in escazu and I'm a nobody so I dont need personal security. But like you go to Paco lets say, you do not see a lot of private security. You see a guy or two parking cars that have guns on that are not loaded and never will be. If a purse snatchers grabs a purse in Paco those old farts parking cars will just wave as he runs by. Thats what I mean, they need more security. The whole country needs more private security.
