Complain a little to Directv that you are getting hosed,get treated like royalty!

I have been with Directv for 17 months out of an 18 month contract.I was with them a number of years back but when I got high def I switched to Dish Network because they gave me a better deal.When they started screwing me,I went back to Directv.

I write an e-mail telling Directv that I'm thinking on switching to cable or Dish again last week and today I receive a phone call saying that they will give me the NFL package and every single channel incuding premium movie packages they have for 5 months at the same price I am paying now which is one package up from the bare bones package.

I called them back after I accepted the offer to find out if I paid some lump sum for the NFL total game package and they said no,it's all included.

Did anyone else get this offer?Man,I'm getting like 300 channels.It's the beautiful time of the year with weather here and I'm mad because I'm going to be a couch potato now.

I was a Directv customer for almost 10 years and I got tired of their price increases for sports packages (NFL,MLB) and the blackouts here in Vegas on baseball. (6 teams consider us in their broadcasting area). I Switched to cable and I get LA, San Diego, and the MLB channel plus the network games. MLB shows all the important action in real time in HD, so I'm happy. I can go to the book if I want to see an NFL game I'm interested in. Directv does not reward loyalty, they'll just keep jacking your rates and throw you a bone every now and then to stick around. My opinion only.

If u complain to any company, u will get a few perks cuz every customer counts. Good job btw

I can't stomach direct tv. I signed up for the verizon triple freedom package and they were the tv part of it. At least they got rid of those freaking piss poor indian customer service fks from 4-6 years ago. There customer service still f'in blows.

You should ask for hbo and all those channels as well. The package they are offering now is all of those channels and the football package for 5 months.

That sounds pretty good. I complained to them after my contract was up and told them I was gonna switch to Comcast and they told me I can have the same package I had, but for $20.00 less per month for a year. I stayed with them, but now I'm wondering if I could have gotten anything more.
