Is gambling ilegal in Virginia?

I was thinking of getting into sport gambling, but before I get my hopes up further, I need to know if it's legal or ilegal in Virginia!

I live in VA and bet online, you won't be charged with a crime betting online.... where are you in the Commonwealth?

If Virginia is in Nevada, then yes it is legal

You might consider thinking it over a wee bit longer.
