I was going to be done at the end of the football season anyway. I am a recreational player that its not worth the risk. I will be back in 3-7 years when the US makes online gambling legal and regulated. It will happen, it is just a matter of time.Comment -

pinnacle is located on the netherlands antilles, which is sort of part of the netherlands. the netherlands have had anti-gambling laws in place for ages for dutch citizens, but no idea if the same applies to citizens of the netherlands antilles (apparently not, because there are several online bookmakers there, including also VIP). netherlands and the us definitely have all kinds of extradition treaties, but i don't know if these treaties also apply to the antilles.
anyway, if i worked at a bookie that would still be accepting us customers, it seems a lot safer to me to be in costa rica or antigua or whatever. but i'm not an expert, so i could be wrong, and this whole story might not have anything to do with the reason of pinnacle to stop taking americans.Comment -

Same goes for VIP.
The exchanges seem to be staying as well, as the language of the anit online gaming clause of the Port Security Law seems to exclude them.
I am very curious about why Pinnacle is leaving the US market and why they are doing it so quickly. Even if they planned to leave soon, I'd think they'd wait until Feb 5th, because they are leaving a lot of money on the table.Comment -
