Ya it is like $200 cheaper, although half of what I paid was with credit card points, and I have already paid in full because it was through the cc rewards site. They want a $248 deposit to book a res. Any thoughts or am I out on that? Thanks man.

I would call the reservation desk and say that you want the promo. They will probably do it. At minimum you can probably squeeze them for the free buffets which is totally worth it.

This happened to me before and they cancelled and rebooked me in the phone with the discount.

Rewards website operates through Expedia. They said they can’t add amenities or discount when res is made thru 3rd party company.

I have heard that before.

He said he’d put in a request for an upgrade based on availability and manager discretion.

Good morning, gentleman. Taking the wife to Vegas weekend after next for our anniversary.

First....Haven’t booked anything yet as I heard this time of year, the longer you wait the better deal you will get. Is that true?

Second... wife has only been to Vegas once. She stayed at the Aria. She just partied, shopped, walked around looked at hotels and touristy shit. I only want to bring a grand or two to gamble and feel like it will go a long way downtown... she said she’s cool with that because she wants to see old Vegas. Well... I haven said anything to her, but I think she thinks it’s gonna be like the movie Casino or something and really, she’s a classy lady and I don’t think she will like it downtown once she sees it. What do you think? Are there any newer, classier hotels down there? She did say she’d like to be able to go up to the room if I am gambling and she doesn’t want to hang out...

Third... what are the must try foodie-type restaurants?


Last... any other tips on where I should take her, things she would like, no overly touristy shit though. She really doesn’t like gambling, but I think I can fix that, I have a couple ideas, but anything there or any general advice unrelated to anything I have said would be appreciated.

When we were 21 and on our honeymoon in Manhattan, we had reservations at Le Cirque that we made months in advance.

We showed up... nobody in the main restaurant downstairs. Maitre D comes downstairs and says “I am sorry but we closed for a private party.” My meek little wife commenced to curse this guy up and down. I was the one to do shit like this, not her. She was pissed! I had to pull her away from this guy and we went to One if by Land, Two if by Sea instead.

I saw they have a Le Cirque at Bellagio, so I made reservations there for Saturday.

And Momofuku on Friday.

Sunday still deciding.

There are a ton of fukking awesome restaurants there... it is hard to decide.

Got tickets to the hypnotist comedy show at Planet Hollywood for Sunday.
