I don't see a circumstance where I will be buying more. Never say never but highly doubt it.
I lent a friend (business associate) 1/2 a BTC last year with the agreement he will pay back double. It think it was around 8000 at the time. He will be able to afford it.

About 3 years ago, the company gave me an option to be paid in BTC when it was around 1800. I got just over 4 now not including the loan and seeing that I have been traveling for almost 20 years, its a good portion of my retirement fund also. For now anyways.

I sold way too early into the 2017 run.

I’ve been on a heater the last few months to increase my total to just under 3 BTC. Holding onto them long term this time.

I’m selling whatever amount I have in 22 years when I’m 60. My goal to have at least 5 full Bitcoins & hoping the price is around 100k. That’s a modest prediction compared to the experts.

Coulda had more but I spent a lot correcting rookie mistakes made in early 2018. Bought Eth, EOS, XRP, Tron, Stellar, others at stupid high prices so I corrected them by buying them again at super low prices the rest of 2018 and 2019. Most all are in the green now so the DCA strategy worked for me. That's probably too many different cryptos to have but I'm gambling that one of them will moonshot big time...

If I was new, I wouldn't hesitate to acquire Bitcoin, right now. The future is bright - just make sure to get out before the predictable bear market rears it's ugly head. Hodl a little and buy back in the middle of the bear market......

I remember Bill Gates saying it will be 100K or more per BTC. That was 3-4 years ago.

I also remember the former owner of BoDog sports book, Calvin Ayre, saying about 3 years ago that BTC Cash is where the future is and the everyone should cashout BTC to BCH. I admit, he seemed to know what he's talking about and I seriously thought about doing it but in a moment of unexplainable good fortune, I stayed put with BTC.

So far you’re in the lead Arky as far as Bitcoin. I know most of us here also have alt coins like yourself in this very green market over the last 10 years running.

I buy in at 23k every time I make a withdrawal from a sportsbook. Other than that, no I wouldn't.
But this is big institutional money coming in right now. 23k seems like an insane price, but in 2013 $230.00 seemed like an insane price.

I once bought a $1000 worth of stock at 50 cents. when it opened, it did at $1.20 and I sold it 3 years later at $4.60. Nice right?

6 weeks later, Bell Canada bought them out and the stock went to $96 a share. Infowave. Few months later it was worth 12 cents.

I know. I was just goofing around. But I can see it being much more than it is today in 2023. It will likely drop off after xmas like it did before when it hit 20K. Who knows.

Update: LTC ran up from 12/15 at $80 to 12/17 AM reached $109, so that was about 35% up in 36-hours, and of course just like Bitcoin / Cryptos have all seen huge run-ups already this year, prior to this.

My (unpopular) advice is to take profits at the current price levels

Whether BTC, LTC, or others

The advice applies less for hodlers, More to trading

A significant drop should be coming, before we reach fresh higher-highs in the not too distant future (into the new calendar year)

Meh, I follow a guy on Youtube that has 25. Search "Bob Loukas". He's a hodler extraordinaire and doesn't post often but very smart, knowledgeable.

It's a little pricey, now but everyone should try to get at least 1 Bitcoin. There were some better prices in the past no doubt...
